Howling Hill Farm's Goat milk soap is made from our own herd of Nigerian
dwarf goats' rich and creamy milk. Since this breed produces a milk that has
a higher percentage of butterfat than any other breed of goats, our soap is
even more moisturizing and creamy than regular milk soaps. Goat milk has
the same pH as our skin so it is easily absorbed and the vitamins in milk help
keep your skin supple and healthy rather than dry and tight.
The milk along with a combination of vegetable oils, essential oils, botanicals
and clay are the only ingredients that we use in our soaps.
All of the soaps are made with a base of oils including olive oil, palm oil,
coconut oil, and sunflower oil. Olive oil is high in vitamins and minerals and
helps maintain correct water balance in the skin. Palm oil makes a hard bar,
for lasting power. Coconut oil seals in skin's moisture and gives the soap a
great lather. The clays we use pull impurities from the skin, add nutrients,
and increase circulation while also giving the soap a slippery feel which make
them great for shaving.
